Let's Meet

My name is Arjan Klijn, born and raised in The Netherlands but worked all over the world.

I founded The ROOTing Company.

And this is my story.

During my studies I started up my own business, creating business plans and implementing ISO-9000 quality management systems for companies. Though successful, I decided to gain more experience in an international corporate environment.

 

I have had the opportunity to work for two industry leading multinationals, BASF and Würth Group, managing sales revenues exceeding 1 billion Euro's over the years. These two companies were very different in their roots and styles, one being a SE and the other is family owned. But both are very similar in working highly professional and achieving many growth records over decades. Both are very involved in sustainability and are showing great efforts.

 

People have praised me for my passion, vision, sharpness, structured way of working, and ability to take people on a journey. As I felt the time had come to take my experience and use it to help entrepreneurs taking the next steps and enjoying it, I founded The ROOTing Company!

Last year, my wife and I started a foundation to conserve and protect the greater Białowieża forest area: Fundacja Nasz Las was born. The ROOTing Company will be a great addition to our activities.
